I lovveeee this coat. I wanted something that could stand the Midwest winters and it easily can do that. At first, I questioned if I would separate the jacket as much but YALL, I do it all the time. That tote that comes from the bottom of the jacket? GENIUS! I went to Amsterdam for a week with the coat and wore it in like 5 different styles and most of the time I needed to convert the bottom of the coat to the tote and it worked perfectly. So beautifully designed and of course the satin for my locs is everything. At this point, with all my Kin apparel, I really should be an ambassador as my friends say lol. If you need a jacket that can do all the things and keep you warm, then this is it!

as a person whose body temperature runs warm but who lives in the PNW and needs to wear layers every day, this coat is the business!! keeps me nice and warm but since i can make it sleeveless, i don’t get so warm that i sweat. i really love wearing it as a long vest, feels very High Fashion and i can throw it over any outfit. i will say the coat is very heavy, which i honestly like. it feels like wearing an enormous cozy sleeping bag and i’m into it. the hood is of course extra large so if i have my locs tied up it still fits all my hair. love how customizable it is. i’m about 5’6” and i bought a size L so i could layer it and it’s quite long. i almost wish there was one more module to unzip so i didn’t have to decide between buying the crop and the hip-length version. the hip-length vest is a little longer than i like, so i have been wearing it full length. my fiancé said it gives Heidi Klum’s worm costume and i take that as a compliment
